How we use your data

Find Me New Work is run by Calegator, LLC. This is a plain summary of what the app does with your information.

What we keep

The text of documents you add (resumes, notes, answers). Uploaded files themselves are not kept.
Answers you give in the profile interview, including about volunteer work, caring for family, or side work.
The profile we build from that text, what you want in a job, and the roles you pick.
Jobs you search, save, apply to, or skip, and the fit reports, resumes and cover letters we write for them.
Contact details you add for your resume (name, email, phone, city, links). They are never sent to the AI.
What you tell us about yourself in About you, such as what you're after, what you need from a job, and how you like to be helped.
Notes you add when you plan a change, and the change plans we write for you.
Your practice questions and the answers you check.
Whether you asked for the weekly email, and which day.
Your plan, and any Plus requests you send, with your note.
Your email address, so you can sign in.

Anthropic provides the AI. We send your profile text, your answers in the profile interview, what you tell us in About you, what you tell us draws you to a job, notes you add when you plan a change, the answers you ask us to check, and job postings to Anthropic's paid API to build your profile, ask follow-up questions in the profile interview, suggest roles, ask coach questions, write fit reports, resumes, cover letters, and change plans, and write practice questions and answer checks. Before we send typed or pasted text, or a Word or PDF file, we remove names, emails, phone numbers, street addresses, and profile links.
A photo or a scanned PDF is the exception. The AI has to see the image once to read its text. We remove those details from that text before we save it or use it for anything else.
Supabase stores the data and handles sign-in. Vercel hosts the app.
Resend sends invite emails, the weekly email you ask for, and the email when you get Plus.
If you sign up and haven't started your profile after a few days, we send one reminder email. The reminder and the weekly email each have a link to stop them.
Job boards (Adzuna, USAJOBS, Jooble, and Talroo when it is enabled) receive the job titles and place you search. Talroo also receives your IP address with each search, which its terms require; we don't store it.

You can edit or remove anything in your profile.
"Delete my data" on your profile page deletes your account and everything tied to it. We keep only cost records of past AI calls, with no link to you.
